Reader love

Reading an advanced excerpt of The Ashar Prophecies, I am quickly pulled into the life of Hera Comb as she struggles with what has become her typical day of high school. As a reader, I can empathize with her desire to fit in and be "normal". On the surface, it seems like the classic high school experience of less popular girls. Almost immediately, you realize that there are other factors at play here - Hera's anxiety levels are amplified and then there are her recurring dreams.  At the end of a few chapters, I couldn't wait to find out whether the sixteen-year-old would ever fit in anywhere or with anyone and who it would be with.
